This unique and sensational activity is a combination of water trekking, floating, swimming and jumps. 
An exhilarating experience into the heart of the Gorge du Verdon guaranteed to delight all nature enthusiasts.

Sportive level required.

Duration: 5–6hrs

  • 30 minute steep descending walk to the riverbank.
  • 2 hours of water-trekking, swimming, floating and jumps.
  • 1 hour for lunch.
  • 1 hour 30 mins of extra swimming, floating and jumping.
  • 45 minute ascending exit walk with varying gradients. Certain passages are equipped with ladders and handrails.

Trip procedure:

Allow 7 hours in all for the trip, which includes the time for getting equipped, the security briefing and transport to and from the site.

  • Entry into the river happens just after crossing the “L’Estéllié footbridge on the left side of the riverbank. You will get to encounter one of the most beautiful river canyons south-eastern France has to offer in the Provence Côte d’Azur region.  This 4 hour exploration by means of swimming, floating and jumping is packed with thrills and splashes undeniably forging unforgettable memories!
  • The lunch break is a moment for you to soak up the majestic views and recharge your energy levels for the second half of the trip.
  • After lunch you will continue downstream where you will be able to witness the striking sections of the Verdon river canyon: “l’Estéllié, “le Styx”, “le Maugué” and “L’Imbut”.
  • The final part of the trip ends with a 45 minute ascending hike up out of the canyon via the Vidal trail. It’s a fun and challenging walk up, punctuated with some hair-raising and pleasurable passages.  This moment also offers you the chance to revel in the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.
