Your guide will pick you up in Montpellier at your hotel or at a central place and will take you to the countryside of Montpellier. You can see the mountain peak from different part of the city.....but why not hiking to the top !!! Follow the scenic roads of the city and its region until your starting hiking point after a 30-minutes drive. By your own, it will take you around 1h to 1h30 minutes to reach the summit of the mountains. It's an easy but steep and stony path. Don't forget to wear good walking shoes, your water and, if wanted your picnic (not included). Once you have reached the top, you won't be disappointed as the view is breathtaking over the south of France.

Now it's time to start the descent. Your guide will drive you to a boutique-winery where you will have an introduction to local wines. Meet the winemaker that will share his knowledge with you and make you taste his wine. When your visit finishes, your guide will drive you back to Montpellier.

A food and wine experience in the Montpellier countryside including a wine tasting at a winery and the meal in our family house.
A taste of south of france.
Together we will explore that little corner of France, the wine and the gastronomy of course, but also the less noticeable details, the small things that make this place special for me.

I am guide in the Pic St. Loup wine area, near Montpellier.
My mother cooks homemade and farm to table meals in her guesthouse.
We decided to share our expertise with you.
We’ll talk about wine, grape and terroir, certainly, but also of the countryside, the people and the thousand other things that shape taste and life in their own ways around here. A relaxed discovery of a piece of France I particularly treasure.

Climb up Saint Louis’ keep and take a stroll around the Medieval fortifications. Saint-Louis founded the fortified city of Aigues Mortes to provide the kingdom of France with a port on the Mediterranean. The keep ramparts and towers, gems of 13th-century Gothic architecture, are a remarkably well-preserved defence structure.

Perched on the terrace of the Tower of Constance, you will observe a spectacular panorama overlooking the Camargue and salt marshes. Under the majestic ribbed vaults of the towers, you will dive into the Middle Age with its Crusades and the major events that have marked the city. Your ticket allows you direct entry to the Towers and Remparts.

Make your own way to Aigues-Mortes and use your pre-paid ticket to skip the line and enjoy priority access to the medieval fortifications and ramparts. Once inside, set out on a self-guided tour and spend as long as you like exploring the magnificent ruins.

Along the way, learn about the city's history as a port and royal stronghold, and learn how the towers were turned into prisons and used to hold Protestant prisoners after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes in 1685.
